The Legend of Cyriandom (Updated Version)
This is my final storyboard sequence for my Storyboard class in Savannah College of Art and Design. I used Adobe Photoshop to draw miraculous shots and design the world of Nyranth, an ancient city full of joy and peace from the other side of the Uni-World. The storyboard is about an ancient legend about Cyraindom: The Mistress of Intrusion. She has a mystical powers that she is unable to contain or grip her emotions or visions of a prophecy.
For this particular project, I want to recreate a dramatic version of "The Legend about Cyraindom: The Mistress of Intrusion." My partner and I worked together to create a storybook version because we wanted to redesign the look of set and create the dramatic effects.

Storyboard Process
In March 2018, my Dutchess Community College classmates and I went to Italy for senior field trip for a whole week. It was an amazing experience to visit these ancient artifacts, monuments, and buildings. I found myself some inspiration to make some concept ideas for my future films. For this case, we went to Pompeii, one of the most ancient and forgotten place in the world. I couldn't imagine how so horrific when ashes of volcano covered the land. I took dozens of pictures with my Sony A7SII camera. We went many places to Venice, Florence, Pompeii, Assisi, Naples, and Rome.
For "The Legend of Cyriandom," Cyriandom happened out of nowhere since I got the inspiration of Pompeii. I looked back to my images, and I used them as a references to make fanatical backgrounds for my partner.
As for me, I design the character of Cyraindom. I drew many poses of her in every shot. I made fantastic lighting effects of her powers. I also color graded to feel very sepia tone, which gave it more of an antique color. I had to try and match the exact drawing style of my partner's work.
