SALT - A Neo-Noir Drama Film

Logline “Salt” is a Neo-Noir Drama about a selfish, stingy and wealthy man, obsessed with accumulating money and power, when he loses his business and family, he must confront the truth about himself or fall into an even darker fate. Synopsis After receiving his inheritance, a young man, Othman, becomes obsessed with money. When his business is about to become bankrupt, he steals money from his family’s account, and his family resents him. He loses his family, and his business collapses. Now homeless, he embraces sharing and kindness with an interviewer and avoids falling into an even darker fate. He learns that life isn’t about money, life is about sharing kindness with others. I found the inspiration to discuss wealth disparity by seeing the homeless people in Savannah, GA sitting in parks where I first attended college. Some people have been trying to help the poor communities for years, but many people ignore it. People with the means to help need to learn the value of compassion, love, and helping others who need hope. They should do something, and poor communities can significantly benefit from their contribution. SALT is a film that shows the dark side of what can happen to rich people who are obsessed with accumulating money and power and allows audiences to realize the truth about themselves. © 2022 ACPictures. This film is really about sharing friendship and gifts with others. It's about a young girl who enjoys riding her bike until she witnesses a girl on a scooter who falls. Bike Girl companies Scooter Girl and sees that her scooter is broken. Bike Girl decides to give her her bike as gift and as a friend. This is my first FILM 100 using a Lomokino 35mm Camera. It was a tricky process to operate the camera and film properly. I was starting to get use too in filming. It was filmed outside at Hamilton Hall in Savannah. Conn & Vega is about two students that have different meal. One of them is a carnivorous and the other one is a vegetarian. They accidentally pick their wrong lunch bags and freak out their lunches. This film was done by a group of COM 211 of Dutchess Community College students who made this film. I was a first camera assistant and visual effects supervisor for the entire film. It was a long tedious project to make, but I'm proud that we accomplished. The film is mainly about a spoiled rich man, named Lucius, who thinks he has talent over girls' model. He makes shoes and has an elderly assistant, Walter, who happens to be sick or dying. So Walter hires Anna to take over. Despite Lucius's disagreement or arrogant, Anna learns from Walter's will about him and Lucius. To Lucius, he despise pretty girls because true beauty is painful.
